Biarritz is a seaside town on the southwest coast of France, 700 km southwest from Paris, in the Basque country. The local climate is very mild between mountains and ocean. The nature lovers will be charmed by the variety of landscapes.

The diverse sport activities can be practiced in a range of 30 km around Biarritz:

• On the mountain : climbing, hiking, mountain bike tours, canyoning,  sky diving
  

• On the ocean : surfing, sailing, diving.

Gastronomy is remarkable with varied specialities like ham, cheese, "foie gras", and wines of high quality.

In each village, festivities and summer festivals are successively organised to please people, who can watch or participate different games and activities such as basque pelota, basque force games, corridas(bullfight).
