Lindenberg

Lindenberg is a health resort town (800 m above sea level) tucked away in the idyllic Westallgäu in the foothills of the Alps. Located in the heart of Bavaria half way between Munich and Zurich and only half an hour from Lake Constance and the Austrian border, Lindenberg is the ideal destination for anyone who wants to enjoy a quiet break or for those who wish for an activity filled active holiday.

The beautiful surroundings and nearby Lake Constance offer our students a number of attractive destinations for excursions. Lindenberg is a popular vacation spot with a variety of sports and recreational activities: swimming, biking and hiking in the summer, skiing and snowboarding, ice-skating and snow-shoeing, tobogganing and Bavarian curling in the winter.

The  hospitality and friendliness  of the locals is well renowned, as Lindenberg historically has played a vital part in the trading of horses from the Northern part of Germany to Italy. Tourism, due to its wonderful location in the very beautiful Allgäu region has made the town a prosperous one.

Lindenberg is a town proud of its heritage and customs which can be witnessed all year round at one of the many festivals hosted there. This makes Lindenberg a great place to see the 'real' Germany and experience its culture and traditions.

Berlin - The modern metropolis

In the years following German re-unification, Berlin has developed into a modern metropolis. Even with almost four million inhabitants, life in Berlin has stayed pretty relaxed and straightforward. This is probably because Berlin is made up of what were once a number of small villages, something you can still see traces of today. Exploring they city couldn't be easier thanks to its extensive 24-hour public transport system.

The best place to start is in Schöneberg - not only is the school here, but also many of the guest flats used by our students. You can start planning your day as you share breakfast with your German hosts. They will certainly want to help you get to know the city better, and will have some great tips for you. Over dinner you can talk about life in Berlin, and share your first impressions of the city with your hosts.

Schoeneberg BerlinOur school extends over two floors and houses 22 light and spacious classrooms. The rooms can be fitted out with a TV, LCD projector, DVD and/or video player, PC and an interactive whiteboard as required.  We have carefully selected all of our teachers according to their academic and language abilities, as well as the way they relate to their students. The competence and experience of our German teachers is of particular importance: teaching qualifications are important, as is extensive experience teaching German as a foreign language at renowned schools and institutions.

Staying with a German host family will give you more than just an insight into our culture; it will give you a chance to build friendships, too. Depending on your age, interests, and personal requirements, we will find just the right family for you.
