Beijing has been the on and off capital since the Mongol Yuan dynasty and is one of China’s true ancient cities. It is also a vibrant and modern city that seems self-assured and confident to all who visit it.

A vast metropolis, Běijīng is the seat of the communist political power in China. Its architecture varies between felled hútòng (narrow alleys) to huge underground bomb shelters scooped out during the paranoid 1970s. One moment you are staring at a massive Soviet-style monument, the next you spot a vast, shimmering tower rising up from the footprint of a vanished temple.

Beijing campus is in the China Merchants Tower which is located in the middle of the CBD area with convenient transportation links. It's only 20 minutes' drive to the airport and it's easy to get to our campus by subway or buses.
